A STUDY ON THE SOURCES OF RENEWABLE ENERGY AND ITS UTILIZATION IN UTTAR PRADESH

STATEMENT OF PROBLEM

 

The study deals with creating awareness and usage of renewable energy sources by Uttar Pradesh state government to the public.

People are more comfortable with Non- conventional energy. Some people are not aware about the benefit of renewable energy.

 

 

NEED AND RELEVANCE OF STUDY

 

Need of renewable energy in Uttar Pradesh

The need for study is to know the demand and supply of renewable energy in Uttar Pradesh. Since from several years UP is facing power crises the demand for power is more than supply.

Major source of energy on which UP depends is coal. Coal is major source of energy production in UP. Whereas Uttar Pradesh rich in solar energy, bio-gas because UP enjoys 300 sunny days so the solar energy effective in Uttar Pradesh. 

Renewable energy is useful for several things such as cooking, heating, generating electricity and also helpful for industries.

 

 



METHODOLOGY

OBJECTIVE:

·         To know the importance and demand of renewable energy in Uttar Pradesh.

·         To reduce other cost such s electricity bill and many other by effective utilization of renewable energy.

·         To make people aware about uses and benefit of renewable energy.

 

Methodology of Research

This research basically tells about different utilization of renewable energy. The renewable energy have several uses such electric vehicle, biogas cooking, thermal energy, wind energy, solar energy etc. 

Electric vehicles: In today’s scenario electric vehicle is more often used, electric vehicle doesn’t harmful towards environment. The government of India gives subsidy on purchase of electric vehicle. Electric vehicle are nature friendly.

Geothermal: Geo-thermal energy is the energy which is generated and stored inside the earth, it is basically used for bathing, cooking, heating the main benefit of this energy is it is available every time.

The research is basically based on different type of renewable utilization in UP.

 Source of Data

Secondary data: The study is based on secondary data, and the data is collected from government website, journals, annual report of government, public library.

Data Collection

Renewable energy provides information about different such as wind energy, solar energy, thermal energy, geo thermal energy, hydro energy etc. sustainable energy requires various assets for stronger connection of renewable energy such as land, location, cost, and installation.

Uttar Pradesh new renewable energy development agency has different renewable energy departments. 

OUTCOME OF THE STUDY

This study tells about that as day by day population is increasing the demand for source of energy is also increasing. The study shows that there is huge requirement of renewable energy In both rural as urban area as we know that Uttar Pradesh is most populated state of India so their more demand foe renewable energy. The renewable energy is most save as secure energy for utilization and it doesn’t have time period such as fossil fuel. The utilization of renewable energy is less in Uttar Pradesh because the cost of installation of renewable energy is more and people are not aware about the benefits and uses of renewable energy. There are almost 70 districts in Uttar Pradesh so the demand for renewable energy is more in UP. The need of power supply is more in this state.

As more as increase the consumption of renewable energy there will be more stable growth in the economy of country the country will be getting more opportunities.

Strength

·         Uttar Pradesh Government produces 22300 megawatt solar energy.

·         Study tells total about installed capacity power in Uttar Pradesh.

·         Different sources and utilization of renewable energy.

Weakness

·         Less awareness about renewable energy and its utilization among people.

·         Highly dependent of public on Non-conventional sources of energy.

Opportunities

·         Making people aware about the uses and benefit of renewable energy.

·         Shifting people from non- conventional to conventional energy.

·         Reduction in installation cost of Renewable energy will increase its usages.

Challenges

·         Difficult to shift people from non-renewable energy utilization to renewable energy.

·         Cost of renewable energy is high so every can’t go for renewable energy usage.

The examination tells about use of sustainable power source in Uttar Pradesh. This investigation tells about various employments of sustainable power source.

·         Renewable vitality for long time: sustainable energy or renewable energy will not be run out as we know that non-renewable energy such as petroleum products will be run out after certain time it is with renewable energy such as solar energy, wind energy etc.

·         Renewable energy is eco- friendly: renewable energy is eco-friendly and includes very low carbon. Non-renewable energy sources produce significant levels of ozone depleting of CO2. Sustainable energy is eco- friendly and have less effect on nature so it is much better than non-renewable energy such as petroleum products and other non- renewable energy.

 

CONCLUSION

 

Renewable energy is necessity for new generation so it is being proven that it changing the scenario of today’s world. Sustainable energy is increase the slandered of living of people.so the renewable energy is the future of the world.  

In today’s world renewable energy requires almost in every home for such as for cooking, heating and for other works. It is basically need of future.
